You will join your safari guide and proceed to the Giraffe center for 1-hour tour before returning to the hotel in preparation of tomorrow safari.

We will depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south along the Central Kenya Highlands via Nyeri town for a stopover and visit to local schools and then proceed into the northern plains with stunning views across the slopes of Mt. Kenya.
You will arrive for late lunch and if you are up to it there will be a short late afternoon game drive. This park is especially famous for the almost guaranteed sighting of the 3 cats: lion, cheetah, and leopard.
This stunning destination is relatively untouched and you can see the magnificent Ewaso Nyiro River, which supports a wide variety of game such as elephant, reticulated giraffe, buffalo, grevy's zebra, oryx and the long-necked gerenuk.

Samburu National Reserve is a rugged, semi-desert park located in Samburu district in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The park is close to the dwelling of Samburu tribe of Kenya, a tribe known for their remote culture and rich history preserved for many years.
It's interesting to know that the Samburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa, the Lioness made famous in the best-selling book and later on made into this movie which gathered various awards.
The Samburu National Reserve is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting oryx calves.
Birdlife is exceptional as Samburu boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, and Somali ostriches among others.

After breakfast at the camp and visit to Samburu Village, we depart for Nakuru via Thompson Falls. There shall be a stop to view the scenic Thompson falls at Nyahururu as well as meet with the local tribesmen of Central Kenya the Kikuyu. The drive through farming country and homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment is scenic. Arrival in the evening for well-deserved rest.

Early breakfast, we check out and we depart for Lake Nakuru National Park for game drive. This shallow Soda Lake has been famous for its flamingos but has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. You may get out of the vehicle at the lake shore to get a closer look at the birds. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey and scurrying hyraxes, as well as great views of the park. The national park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhinos which were introduced to the park some years ago. Later we depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve arriving late evening.

After breakfast, we carry packed lunches and set off to search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continue today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

After breakfast, you have a visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Later we drive back to Nairobi, end of safari.
