Itinerary

Pick up from Hotel in Nairobi, meet the rest of your group. For those with payment balance clear first. After safari briefing, we depart for Masai Mara through the dramatic Great Rift Valley. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is the home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. Lunch at Narok town and later proceed to your camp, check in and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve–one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents of the Parks are Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of the plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. Overnight at budget Tented Camp Meal Plan {Lunch & Dinner}

After breakfast, we carry packed lunches and set off to search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continue today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay, we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Overnight at budget Tented Camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}

Early morning tea/coffee or Hot chocolate, then depart for a morning game drive. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. After a full English breakfast back at the camp, depart for Nakuru, you can have a stopover at Lake Naivasha for boat ride and feeding the fish eagles. Or just head to the hotel in Nakuru and spend afternoon by the pool. Overnight at Lanet Matfam Resort Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}

Pick up from your hotel, we head for Lake Nakuru National Park for game drive. This shallow Soda Lake has been famous for its flamingos but has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. You may get out of the vehicle at the lake shore to get a closer look at the birds. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey and scurrying hyraxes, as well as great views of the park. The national park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhinos which were introduced to the park some years ago.
